The first week or two can be the most challenging if you aren’t used to the intensity of Metabolic Aftershock. We encourage you to take some leisurely walks and if you have time, fit in some cool down walks post workout. Tune into your water intake to make sure you are getting about ½ of your ideal weight in ounces of water (herbal tea is fine too). Listen to your body and wait one more day if you need to.
Another great method for relieving muscle soreness is an Epsom salt bath. Arnica, which can be found at any health food store (you can ask them for recommendations), is also great to relieve sore muscles. Hang in there – it will get better over time.
