For some, Metabolic Aftershock may actually help you. The benefit will likely come from working the posterior chain / upper back. Many of us, including Dr. Jade, are very chest dominant which can put the shoulders in an unbalanced positioning and lead to impingement and increase risk of strains, sprain, and tears. For some it is important to focus on keeping your shoulders healthy by balancing pushing movement with pulling movements (i.e. the push-ups balanced with batmans and other upper back squeezes that happen in Metabolic Aftershock).
