If you’re not hungry you may want to skip that meal in order to play, “metabolic detective.” This is a good way to see if your body is adequately fueling you through the burning of its own fat versus the need to supply it with fuel. How will you know? If HEC (hunger, energy, cravings) stay in check.
If after missing a meal you find yourself ravenously hungry and eating the wrong things later in the day, then it was not a good move. If however, HEC stays in check, then you are likely burning fat from your body and that is a good thing.
