For days off simple movements such as walking, yoga, swimming, cycling or stretching is highly recommended. This allows your body to recover fully before the next metabolic workout.
Workouts can’t be done every day because recovery is just as important as the workout itself. You do not want to do any type of organized workouts such as group classes and instead look to your days off as time for your muscles, ligaments and tendons to restore themselves.
Dr. Jade highly recommends you get as much movement as you can daily. Consider adding a goal of walking 10,000 steps daily. Try your best to get this movement in because it’s excellent for overall health and will boost your results.
